The short version
We collect two things. The first is whatever you choose to send us. The second is anonymous statistics about which pages get read, and only if you agree to it. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising, and we do not track you across other websites.
What you send us
If you email us or use a form on this site, we receive whatever you put in it: typically your name, email address and a description of what you need. We use it to reply and to carry out work you have asked for. We keep enquiries for as long as there is an active or plausible working relationship, and delete them on request.
Analytics, and why you were asked
This site can use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_*) which identify your browser across visits, and it sends data to Google, who act as our processor and may process it outside the Cayman Islands and the United Kingdom.
Because those cookies are not necessary to make the site work, we do not set them unless you accept. Until you accept, the Google Analytics script is never loaded and no request is made to Google at all. If you decline, nothing is loaded and nothing is stored.
Advertising and personalisation signals are switched off permanently, not merely defaulted off. Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
What else is stored on your device
Your analytics choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask again on every page. That is a technical record of a preference you gave us and contains no personal information.
Hosting and processors
The site is served as static files by our hosting provider, whose servers keep standard access logs including IP addresses for security and troubleshooting. Google Analytics is used only with your consent, as described above. We do not share your information with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, withdraw your analytics consent at any time using the button above, and complain to your data protection authority if you are unhappy with how we have handled something.
For any of that, or any question about this policy, email hello@vunero.ky.
